I’ve fished with plenty of guides over the years all over New Zealand and was recently very impressed with Richard. His seemingly simplistic approach to fishing was refreshing and many of his catch phrases still stick in my mind: “You can do it the hard way or the easy way” and “less is more”. Combine this with Richard’s obvious in depth knowledge of the local rivers, and catching and releasing those big wily browns, ensures you will have a fun filled, extremely satisfying day.
